Curriculum

Curriculum and instruction services are the heartbeat of any school.  Schools are designed and focused on providing high quality instruction to help students achieve at high levels.  There are several factors as to why these services are sometimes disjointed or sporadic.  Circumstances like staff turnover, unfunded mandates, and unfinished planning are just a few.  In addition, curriculum and instruction encompasses so much more than the materials and resources we use to educate students.  The focus of the district can be represented in the instructional framework we use as a district. It also includes the professional learning opportunities we afford our teachers, staff and administrators.  It lives in the documents we use to bring cohesion to the district, things like staff handbooks, curriculum review guides, data analysis reports etc.
